Ember's Rule
Summary
Section titled SummaryDagult Neverember’s criminal syndicate that operates within the entirety of The Sword Coast but primarily out of Neverwinter. Dagult used the resources gathered by this organisation to take control and stabilize Neverwinter following The Ruining.
Around the same time as the founding of The Bussy Knights, Ember’s Rule took out a contract with Equinox Kingdom to seize the fugitive Lamoira for murdering their prince; Darion Stone, after she crossed the political boundary into The Sword Coast and their jurisdiction no longer applied. Dagult Neverember mobilized his most trusted employee The Contact to oversee that the fugitive was captured alive and unharmed.
Lamoira was instead brought into the fold of the organization as Dagult Neverember began to use his ability of Supernatural Persuasion to his will. He was surprised by her individuality even after the first few sessions of the ritual.

Section titled CollapseLamoira, acting on her own accord, took an opportunity to kidnap Uganda Pickles while they were all in the city of Amylthas. This backfired on Dagult Neverember and Ember’s Rule and led to the collapse of the syndicate after the death of Dagult Neverember.
