Lamoira
Summary
Section titled SummaryLamoira was born into the Montaveron Family; reigning monarch’s of the Solstice Collective. She struggled mightily to meet the expectations of her parents. She is currently on the run from the Equinox Kingdom after killing their their prince and her arranged-husband in self-defence.
She was briefly connected with The Bussy Knights before being abducted by The Contact for Dagult Neverember. She was given the choice to work for Dagult Neverember instead of being turned into her pursuers.
She unknowingly set off the chain of events that led to the downfall of Ember’s Rule by capturing Uganda Pickles while in Amylthas. During this time; she was nothing more than a puppet for Dagult Neverember due to his supernatural abilities.
Upon regaining her sense-of-self, Lamoira is now looking for a direction in her life after she was freed from custody by the Amylthasian authorities.
Backstory
Section titled BackstoryLamoira’s parents are the leaders of their small Half-Elf community, positions adjacent to King and Queen. She was raised as the sole heiress to their fortune and considerable influence within the community - and all the benefits of elevated rank. Her parents were fairly distant with her for this reason, as most of her time was spent with tutors. When Lamoira was 5, her baby brother Theo was killed by the soldiers of a rival community (they don’t know which) when they ambushed a carriage when travelling, leading Lamoira’s parents to distance themselves even further.
Lamoira was set in an arranged marriage with the ‘prince’ equivalent from a different high-Elf community from a different land when she was 18. His name was Darion and he was 21 and handsome. The wedding itself seemed fine, and Lamoira’s attitude to it was indifferent, if not optimistic - she would be moving to a new place, getting away from her parents and meeting new people, maybe even more freedom. But on the wedding night, the prince tried to poison her so that he would inherit her share of her family’s fortune, which is tied to her until her death. Clocking what he was up to, Lamoira stabbed and killed Darion and is now on the run from Darion’s family and their soldiers, who are searching for her.

her self-defence tutor and the only person Lamoira truly cares about. Lavendra fostered Lamoira’s talents and rebellious spirit unlike the rest of her tutors who only cared about meeting the expectations of her parents and ‘preparing her to be queen’

Lamoira’s relationship with her parents is strained at best. Lamoira truly believes that her parents do not care for her more than they only see her as an asset to their family and status. Lamoira is unaware and uncaring about the fate of her parents after her escape from her own wedding.
Darion Stone - Arranged husband-to-be
The first person Lamoira ever killed. Darion was always very princely towards Lamoira - as would be expected of the prince of Equinox Kingdom Darion attempted to murder Lamoira on their wedding night as a bid to inherit her claim to the throne and riches. Lamoira stabbed Darion in the chest with the special dagger Lavendra had gifted her as a reward for besting her in combat.
