Santa Claus
Summary
Section titled SummarySanta is a Lesser Deity of MorโThal who was granted power by Marius during the Pre-History era.
Once a sub-sect of Mariusโ followers, he has been in charge of his own faithful for a number of millennia at least. There are some well-kept records of his specific faith during the Iron Era.
A large collection of his followers live on Amylthas; where The Church of Christmas was founded. There is some strife between those of The House of Marius and The Church of Christmas as those of the former believe Santa is not a Deity worth being substantially faithful to, while those of the latter believe Marius stretched too thin and isnโt a very consistent Deity to place faith in.
Symbols and Iconography
Section titled Symbols and IconographySanta is often depicted living in The North Pole which is a heavily snowy landscape; a foreign concept to many in the Southern Hemisphere of MorโThal. He is seen to carry a large cloth sack over his shoulder to carry presents he gives to Mortal children during times of celebration.
His holy symbol is either a Candy cane; a hook shaped treat served during the end of year festival known as Christmas, typically with red and white stripes alternating down the circumference diagonally, or a Gingerbread man - another festive treat - made of gold or silver.
Relevance
Section titled RelevanceSanta Claus has seemingly been captured by The Grinch in a revenge plot of some kind. It is unclear how, where, and exactly why this happened but Fill has been tasked with executing a mission to saving the lesser Deity.
