The Telltale Brothers

The Telltale Brothers are a group of brothers from the retroactively named Pre-History era credited with being the forefathers of history on Mor’thal.

Their inventions include the Calendar and Era systems still used in current day (802 Ag) as well as the foundations for the recording of historical events.

While their names have been lost to history; it is know that their names contained the following suffixes:

1. -Irus
2. -Odis
3. -Ayan
4. -Toran

Truth

Four academics; named Ozirus, Malodis, Catayan, and Zatoran, who weren’t related by were as close as brothers in the Pre-History era worked to create the foundations of history within the world of Mor’Thal - originally under the employ of a monarch but they quickly broke out of that deal with their joint intelligence.

Zatoran was the most idealistic of the bunch and after much conflict with his elder colleagues, he ended up sealing the other three in copies of their first manuscript before releasing The Telltale Brothers - 1st Edition by himself - writing history with a very prescriptive quill. The three copies of The Telltale Brothers - 0th Edition were scattered across the planet of Mor’Thal and made intentionally difficult to open - as a specifically cut set of gemstones would be required to open each one with a different arrangement based on the months of the Calendar.
