He was magically thrust into the layers of the Abyssal Plane and fought in the Blood War before being defeated by Ignis Gaze and the Crimson Knight. He was unknowingly saved by Drengen and spent an eternity trapped in a pocket dimension for reasons unknown.

He appeared in Edon suddenly without any real explanation in 800 Ag and is looking for strong opponents.

Born in 33 Fe on Iccirol; Salvador was an adventurer from a young age.

At 18 years old, he returned from a trip to the Fey Realm wishing to find the strongest opponents alive to test his combat skills. He scoured his homeland but found the challenges left to be lacking.

In 56 Fe, he was exploring an underground ruins for any remaining treasure when he discovered an undisturbed deck of cards next to a long-dead skeleton. Salvador took the top card off the deck and upon reading it felt an odd sensation as he was thrust into the Abyssal Plane.

Confused and alone in a foreign place; Salvador looked for a way back to his hometown. Before long; he was discovered by scouts who took him to their Lord for questioning.

He was given the options of fighting for his freedom or to become a meal for their more savage warriors. Salvador; a skilled fighter, took his chances against the Lord’s bodyguards and demonstrated his capabilities, however, due to his inexperience against their fighting styles and his sudden fatigue; he succumb before knocking out the last bodyguard. He awoke; alive, being told he was instead going to work for them in a resistance group against the oncoming Devil armies. Other strong Human fighters and spellcasters were also selected to fight alongside him. There he met Adan Tyosh who he respected immediately for his dedication to combat and shortly after that came to see him as a brotherly figure.

The resistance group they led managed to fight back a handful of Devil advances with their resourceful nature and lower profile. However; the Abyss was still losing the war rapidly.

Salvador and Adan Tyosh led the charge against Ignis Gaze and his two generals; the Crimson Knight and Drengen. Scared shitless but hopeful for a miracle; they pushed forward until the Crimson Knight slaughtered the rest of their group with a single swing of his mace. Salvador was knocked unconscious for a short while after this.

Salvador woke up to see the Crimson Knight; now only slightly larger than human-sized, thrust a large infernal blade through Adan’s chest. Salvador screamed out in anger at the loss of his brother-in-arms.

Drengen was commanded to end Salvador’s life but hesitated at the sight of the distraught fighter. Salvador is too livid to make sense of the argument Ignis, the Crimson Knight, and Drengen are having before seeing the same infernal blade that killed Adan Tyosh slice and bisect Drengen.

Salvador; seeing a window of opportunity, uses his remaining willpower to attempt one last slash at the Crimson Knight - to avenge his brother-in-arms. However; he is a moment too late before being hit full-force by the Crimson Knight’s fists.

”You showed guts kid… I’ll never forget that.”

- The Crimson Knight to Salvador

The Crimson Knight shows Salvador a moment of respect before cutting his chest open and permanently scarring his heart; sentencing him to an eternity of torture. Salvador is left to die a slow and painful death surrounded by the charred corpses of his former commrades as he passed out from the pain, with death moments away.

Unbeknownst to Salvador and the others at the final battle - Drengen had survived his bisection at the hands of the Crimson Knight and selfishly used Salvador’s barely-living body as fuel to heal himself using unstable Blood Magic. Unfortunately for Drengen the spell instead bound their life-forces together before plane-shifting them to a sealed pocket dimension for an unknown amount of time. Salvador’s wounds would have to heal fully before their now-joined existence could re-enter the Prime Material Plane.

The pair spent an unfathomable amount of time in limbo before waking up on the continent of Edon in 800 Ag with Salvador struggling to remember where or when he had been before that and Drengen’s presence imperceptible. Salvador knew only one thing; he was itching for a real-good fight.
