Section titled DescriptionA tall woman with a regal presence. Cucumber Pickles is a powerful figure across the entire world. Commonly seen wearing a sheen silver dress that drapes from her shoulders and fits her perfectly. The distinct click of her heels is usually the first warning of her presence.
Relevance
Section titled RelevanceControversially selected as heir due to a technicality in the line of succession, she has ruled over one of the more tumultuous times in the societies’ history.
Many rumours followed the rise of The Sisters of The Wight and the subsequent crack down on many religious practices within Amylthas. A majority of the locals blame the Queen directly for the damage and resulting outcomes.

Cucumber cares for her son deeply. She has used much of her power to ensure he wasn’t banished from society based on his blood or actions. She has had to make tough decisions between making the right choice as a Mother or as a Ruler; often at the direct cost of the other. Some people blame Uganda for distracting the Queen from her duties; although she vehemently disavows that notion.
Haestus Pickles - Brother
Cucumber has a particularly odd relationship with her older brother. As children, they were inseparable and cared very deeply for each other. However, as their mother’s health began to deteriorate they suddenly became very adversarial. By the time of their mother’s death, neither herself nor her brother had produced an heir. It was leaked to the media by multiple anonymous sources that Haestus was rendered infertile due to complications from his youth. Some within her brother’s circle claimed foul-play by the now-Queen but no official statement was ever made by the Royal Family. Their relationship worsened when Uganda Pickles was born. She believes her brother is spiteful for her claim to the throne succeeding over his own, and many of her personal council believed he was directly linked to the disclosure of her son’s half-elven nature.
Kellam Oladi - Personal Bodyguard
Kellam and Cucumber were childhood friends due to their parents being Queen and Captain of the Royal Guard alike. However the two became distant when family drama led to his father being dismissed from the Royal Guard. Some historians now believe this was orchestrated to sow distrust amongst the ruling class of the city by members of religious cults that were brewing in the city. Many years later, she made amends and appointed him as Captain of the Royal Guard due to his heroics during the rise of The Sisters of The Wight.
Aster Barros - Long lost Son
Cucumber Pickles hid the existence of her first-born Son from the world due to his illegitimate conception with her personal bodyguard - Valden Barros - and the pair played Aster off as his father’s Nephew. It is unknown what happened but Valden and Aster were separated from Cucumber Pickles at some point in 691 Ag. After this time, Aster Barros would be named Mike Hawk. In 802 Ag, Cucumber Pickles confided the truth of her parentage of Mike Hawk when the latter questioned the former about a man called “Valden Barros”. Mike Hawk has little memories of his mother and father and is somewhat shocked by the implications.
