Context

  • Orphaned child inducted into Oltonian Military for /reasons/
  • Was trained in weapon-based martial arts to defend the country @ The Gate
  • Believes his master was killed by a champion of a divine being.
  • Decided to adventure outside of Olto to find said champion and avenge his family as an 18 year old.

Implications:

  • You are either AWOL, been declared dead, or negotiated your way out of the military post. Are you comfortable with this? Negotiated his way out of Olto via a deal with the Seastone Family.
  • You would have to be smuggled out of Olto via Feldon and then to Edon - this is a 6-12 month journey at minimum.

Questions:

  • How long did you spend in Feldon before travelling to Edon? Took the longer, Northern path between Feldon and Edon. Spent a significant amount of time in Northedge to improve his fighting skill.
  • How long have you been in Edon for? Weeks, Months, Years 2 years
  • What is a personal goal of your character unrelated to your story arc? To become the greatest Monk on the Planet - achieve inner peace.
  • What is their fondest and worst memory? Learning martial arts with master/adoptive father Watching his friends and loved ones be burned and slaughtered.
  • Which god do they have the most alignment with, if any? None because you don’t know who killed your people

Left for Edon upon hearing about a very talented Martial Artist of a similar age as him - was informed that he would likely either be in Neverwinter or in The Shielded Inlands.
